Martin L. Weitzman is Research Professor of Economics at Harvard University, and has taught at MIT and Yale previously. He is one of the most influential economics in the world, focusing his research on environmental economics. During the Sustainability Week, the Faculty of Economics and Business and the Sustainability Office welcome Prof. Weitzman for a lecture on the economical aspect of climate change and why it remains a controversial topic within the field.
