How to tackle food waste?

Consumers in Western countries waste an average of 100 kg of food annually. Fortunately, you can take action and reduce your food waste too.

To spread awareness regarding this issue, the Sustainable Foods working group is organizing a second edition of the Dumpster Feast.

March 17th, you are invited for dinner, and for a lecture. The dinner will be prepared with leftovers from local supermarkets. While enjoying all this deliciousness, our guest speaker, Maarten De Hauw from Too Good To Go, will guide us through some general facts regarding food waste and tell us more about what his company is doing to face the problem.

Tickets (€2) will be sold at Pangaea on March 9th from 13:00 until 15:00. The ticket includes the dinner buffet (bring some Tupperwares for taking home the leftovers!).

The guest talk will be in English.
