More than 8 million tonnes of plastic end up in the ocean each year. By the middle of the century, there’ll be more plastic in the sea than fish. Scientist Thomas Moore investigates how we all have a part to play in turning back the plastic tide.

“The ocean where life on Earth began is being turned into synthetic soup” said Thomas Moore from Sky News. The result of their research is a 45-minute documentary film called “A Plastic Tide”. The documentary is part of Sky News’ Ocean Rescue campaign.

The documentary will be presented by the zero-waste team, Green Officers sharing their experiences on a local zero-waste lifestyle and the Beach Clean up movement in Ecuador.
