Lunch Lecture with Dr. Magaly Rodriguez Garcia
Do you want to learn more about sustainability, or are you considering to write a thesis on sustainability? Do you just want to watch something other than a Netflix series during your lunch time? Then our short, free and informative lunch lectures are perfect for you! After the success of our first lunch lecture with Dr. Maïka de Keyzer last semester, we’re back with a series of three lectures.
What can you expect from this event?
A Zoom meet-up with our guest speaker, like-minded people and Green Office. The speakers (more information below) will not only tell us about their research, but also about the challenges they faced along the way, and how they got into sustainable research. After the lecture, which will be given in English, you will get the chance to ask questions. For those who are interested in doing sustainable thesis research themselves, we’ll explain what the Living Lab team of Green Office en Wetenschapswinkel can do for you!
For the 4th Lunch lecture, we have invited Dr. Magaly Rodriguez Garcia, researcher at the Faculty of Arts. She has kept the topic of her lunch lecture a surprise, but her research interests include global labour history, prostitution policy and Latin American history. In other words, you don’t want to miss this last lunch lecture with an original focus on social sustainability!

When? Friday 30th April 12h30-13:30h
